2. Booking & Payment
The group leader must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking. By booking, the leader confirms authorization to act on behalf of all fellow travelers. The contract becomes effective upon payment of the deposit invoice.
3. Special Requests & Health
Special requests must be specified at the time of booking; fulfillment cannot be guaranteed. Sailing requires an appropriate level of physical fitness. Please inform us of any health restrictions upon booking. We reserve the right to withdraw from the contract in cases of insufficient suitability.
4. Cancellation & Withdrawal
For our sailing tours, the statutory exemption for leisure activities applies:
- Services with a fixed date: In accordance with Art. 16(l) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, there is no general right of withdrawal for contracts concerning leisure activities provided on a specific date or within a specific period.
- Vouchers without a fixed date: For contracts regarding the purchase of value vouchers without a fixed booking date, consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.

5. Insurance Coverage
The safety of our guests is our highest priority. Our yachts are equipped with the mandatory passenger insurance required for commercial vessels, which covers all persons on board during the tour.
Furthermore, it is the guest's responsibility to ensure that they have sufficient personal insurance coverage covering at least the following points:
- Medical Care: Coverage for emergency treatment and medical repatriation.
- Private Liability: Coverage for damages caused by the guest or their group to the yacht.
Please note that in the event of a "no-show," no payments already made will be refunded. We therefore recommend insuring your individual cancellation risk independently.
6. Conduct & Damages
You are liable for any damages caused by you or your group to the yacht. Smoking below deck is strictly prohibited. In case of inappropriate behavior (e.g., excessive alcohol consumption), the skipper is authorized to exclude persons from the trip without a refund.
7. Complaints
Any issues must be reported to the skipper immediately on-site. Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days after the tour to info@ibizadaysailing.com.

Below, we would like to inform you about which data we collect, for what purpose, and what rights you have in connection with the processing of your data.
1. Purpose & Type of Data Collection
We collect and process personal data only as far as necessary for the performance of our services. This includes, in particular, the following data:
- Contact details: Name, first name, address, email address, and phone number.
- Booking data: Date of the tour, number of persons, and, if applicable, health restrictions relevant to safety on board.
These data are used exclusively for booking and reservation management as well as for the fulfillment of our contractual obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
2. Payment Service Provider
To process your booking, we use the payment service provider PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A.). Through PayPal, we offer you various payment methods, such as payment via PayPal account or by credit card.
In this process, the data required for the payment transaction is transmitted to PayPal. We do not have access to your complete credit card details at any time; these are processed directly by PayPal. PayPal's data protection provisions apply accordingly.
3. Data Security & Hosting
This website uses SSL encryption for the secure transmission of your data. Your data is processed exclusively by the owner and is not sold to third parties.
